"About Me"
Hello, my name is Brandon Morton and I am the Technology Integrationist within the Hampton-Dumont CSD. Previous to that I was a Kindergarten through 5th grade Technology teacher within the Waukee, Iowa CSD specifically at Eason Elementary. I have been teaching technology for 6+ years and have fully been integrating technology into my and my students’ learning for 10+ years. Technology has changed greatly over that time, which is good reason for me to provide a continuously updated blog for my Hampton-Dumont CSD teachers related to the integration of technology for personal use, teacher use and/or student use. I believe technology is at the forefront of everyone’s learning, which makes technology integration a pivotal quest for all to be a part of.
"Blog Purpose"
The purpose of this blog is to allow you to become more comfortable with the uses of technology for personal use, teacher use and uses with students. Technology is ever changing and can be hard to keep track of. Through the use of this blog I am going to showcase a variety of technology resources and tools each week to allow you to use and to adapt some of them to your teaching interests and needs. Mastering a variety of technology tools can be a tough task to complete. Providing you with a variety of these technology tools will allow you to pick 1 technology tool to master in hopes of building a foundation to master other technology tools over time. Remember, Something is Better than Nothing!
